The Header...

This felled tree sits just above the beach at Ordiorne Point in Rye NH, which was a the site of Ft. Dearborne during WWII.
My wife and I were walking around when we came across the oddly majestic, gnarled, salt-worn lumber.
It radiates a certain beauty, and curiousity. What is it's story? Is it just a tree, or much more?
